So I want to quickly tell you what’s going on in my head these days. An update on my life if you will, that you didn’t ask for, but I feel you want.
My kid has been busy with a project of making book marks. They are supposed to sell them or has already sold them, I don’t know. All I know is he loved doing it. Why is that important to mention? Life is made up of small moments.
I’m at that stage in my life where nothing big can surprise me into excitement and thrill. These small moments when I’m proud of my kids or someone I haven’t seen in a long time shows up and old happy memories get stirred. Speaking of people, my cousin visited us after forever. I had not seen him in God knows how long. It was awesome to spend time with him and my sister-in-law.
Okay, I’m about to go in that weird place and say things that people tell me “Sometimes you write words that don’t make sense.” I hope those of you who are suppose to understand, get it.
Anyways, I was going to say, the reason I mentioned such random events from my life from the passed weeks is that they aren’t random at all. They matter, and they are important in the grand scheme of things. All of this and more has been the cause of my tiny moments of happiness which I am grateful for. The times we are living in, and everything else we are feeling, it’s important to be grateful for our family and the periodic happiness they bring us.
