When you finally get to see the castle from the inside AND visit the museum, in the same day, smiles naturally come out from the soul.

At the Edinburg Castle

while I was running around skipping through the castle living the past, my 9 year old had questions about my enthusiasm.
Dawud: Mommy you’re really into this history stuff, huh?
Me: Yes baby, I am.
Dawud: You’re childhood must have been really boring that you had to develop interests in the history of people living on a different continent.
Me: But we’re all connected through…
Dawud: Nope, bye I’m here to have fun no lectures.

The part I enjoyed about this conversation was that he left me alone for a while after that afraid that I would start the “lecture” 👍 😁.
