I know we talk about not having or not having big enough pockets in female clothing. Here is another issue I’ve come across recently.
Wallets. Have you tried to look for small wallets for women only for a few cards and small amount of cash? You might find some, but it is really really hard. I eventually bought something from the men’s section.

They say small and sleek in women’s wallets but then they go on add a pocket for our change. We of course need an extra pocket for our lipstick. And what about our very important must have miscellaneous pocket that’s a must for a small practical wallet.
For goodness’ sake I have bigger wallets. I have bags, tote bags, messenger bags, cross bodies. All I want is a grab and go or throw in backpack wallet, why can’t I have that?
Oh, and speaking of backpacks. Where are all the sturdy and practical backpacks for women. We get the dainty pretty ones. Listen I have no problem with pretty. Give me flowers. Give me pink, yellow, red, purple, any color under the sky. Heck make-up some new colors and designs that don’t exist, I’d be the first one in the metaphorical line.

Two things I genuinely don’t understand is, one, why we don’t get any of the practical stuff? Second, why are prices so much higher for us? They say because women are ready to pay the higher prices. Research has shown that women believe the higher the price, the better the product.

The research is accurate unfortunately. There are many factors that contribute, such as false advertising, societal and peer pressure going back centuries, and of course its roots are established in Capitalism.
If companies would start being honest, we could at least minimize this problem. But this is not our discussion for today. What I want to know is does this bother anyone else as much as it does me?
If so, have you found any solutions to this? If anyone knows of a store, shop, especially in Pakistan, please do let me know. Thank you for putting up with my rant.
Waiting to hear from you.
