The Future is…

Not a big fan of hers but what she’s saying here makes a lot of sense. We have to stop this tug-of-war with our counter parts.

This doesn’t mean we stop fighting for women’s rights. This doesn’t mean we stop standing up when men are pushing us down and away.

This doesn’t mean we don’t fight for ourselves and for those who are hurting us and our sisters.

This just means we recognize the good ones and appreciate their efforts to help us.

Most of us all it means we recognize that there is no future unless we work together.

It’s time we stood up for our rights and helped the men realize that asking for our rights doesn’t take away from their rights or our responsibilities towards them.

Just like men fighting for our rights does not mean they are giving up their rights, instead it helps them in achieving their goals and purpose.

Would love to hear your thoughts.
